A faithful companion on the road, that's what the CB is for me! Even if GPS is tending to replace radio guidance, it lacks the friendliness and warmth of a human voice. And unlike the regulars in my area, the GPS doesn't always know the height or tonnage limits, or quite simply... the wrong way round!
(...) When I take my friends with me, they're often pleasantly surprised by the warmth, friendliness and courtesy of Channel 19.
We're informed live about what's happening in the next few kilometers, and it's totally free! Unlike traffic information broadcast on the radio or on your cell phone, which is often out of date by the time you receive it, this is instantaneous!
